Olivier by edouard
Through my career, I have had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented french creative directors (Philippe Michel, Bertrand Suchet, Rémi Babinet, Anne de Maupéou …). Olivier Altmann was missing on my hit list.
The one who imprinted minds by creating BDDP & Fils, won more than 200 creative awards (including 62 Cannes Lions), was named the 4th best Worldwide Creative Director, was the President of the « French Art Director’s club » and is currently President of the French Advertising Delegation. No more, no less.
When I joined Olivier at Publicis, he just had been promoted Worldwide Chief Creative Officer of the network and member of the Executive Committee. Olivier is a real hard worker, driving the creative destiny of global clients such as Renault, Orange, Nestlé, AXA... He is not only a genuine manager, an expert in discovering and nurturing talents, but also a true "brand builder".
Beside being a pure creative, Olivier can also become a skilled business-manager or an inspired strategic planner. So the day he asked me to create our own agency, I obviously accepted without any hesitation.
To partner with the best and most human creative director is an opportunity that comes once in a career.
Edouard by Olivier
I met Edouard in 2005 at Publicis Conseil. He told me how he started his career in the best creative agency of that time: CLM / BBDO. Working with its founder Philippe Michel was a decisive step that gave him the creativity fever. A fever that never left him since. Whether at Louis XIV, at BETC, or as the co-founder of EuroRSCG 27, the agency in charge of Citroën.
When he joined Publicis, it was for the role of managing director, in charge of Renault. First for France, then quickly for the world. His team spirit and his sense of organization led him to create a real integrated agency within the agency, called « Le Garage ». He was in charge of advertising, but also promotional campaigns, digital, edition, and events.
For 7 years, we produced together big and popular campaigns and launched the first electric car. The Havas group then called him back, offering him Leg vice presidency, the creative agency managing SFR account, one of the biggest mobile company in France.
But our separation was short as I asked him to start our own agency in 2014. He said yes without a doubt. Since then, many clients and co-workers joined us. And Edouard still has this creative fever. The one that build big and popular campaigns.
